The Intensive Outpatient Program
The Intensive Outpatient Program delivers addiction treatment to guests through individual and group therapy sessions three hours a day for three days a week for 90 days or more. Guests who are in our program will maintain family and life responsibilities while also going through recovery.
Trauma Informed Care
Guests who have suffered from some type of trauma may have reoccuring painful memories activated during recovery. At Choice Recovery, all of our staff members are trained in trauma-informed care. Our staff aims to provide adaptive resources that encourages healing in a non-threatening environment.
Mindfulness Therapy
Mindful therapy is an approach that focuses on the mind-body connection. It encourages the acceptance of feelings, thoughts and body sensations without judgement. Skills learned through mindfulness therapy can be used in the context of self-care and understanding stressful behaviors.
Individual & Group Therapy
During a guests time in treatment, they will receive at least two individualized one-on-one therapy sessions per week. Guests will work with a primary therapist to understand their specific issues, discuss how to apply new learned skills to efficiently and effectively regulate their symptoms.
Family Program
SUD can affect family and friends. We want to encourage recovery supportive family and friend relationships throughout a guest’s recovery. During this time, family members and friends can learn about SUD, relationship roles, symptoms of relapse and how best to support themselves and their loved one during recovery. This is a very important aspect of an individual’s treatment and long-term recovery success.
